For five years ‘WEDDINGS ONLY‘ has been a multi-photographer studio serving hundreds of couples from all over the world.
It was a great time and I really enjoyed leading my team, editing wonderful images and seeing so many wonderful images.

However, 2012 will be different!

The last two years I was too much busy with managing, editing and creating books instead of photographing and that I missed.
So from now on, it will be me only instead of ‘WEDDINGS ONLY’. From now on it will be dance & weddings: one showing motion, the other emotion.

Regarding weddings, my focus will be mainly on short weddings (starting @ 225 euro) and foreigners looking for a wedding photographer in Croatia.

Tina & Matija [ Trash The Dress ]

Tina and Matija decided to Trash The Dress on the first day of the summer. Normally, this is a warm day but not this year: it was stormy, rainy and cold (7 degrees) like a real Dutch autumn instead of hot Croatian summer. Nevertheless we went to the top of Sljeme to Trash Tina’s Dress.

One thing amazed me: Tina made her dress herself! Svaka cast! Enjoy.

Impressionism [ Trash The Dress ]

Ok, the story is for fellow photographers. The rest can simply enjoy (or not) the image.

When photographing with film (yeah, I know, I’m getting old) I was always fascinated by Impressionism in photography. You could get great ‘pastel paintings’ with usage of the correct film (I loved Agfa for that), in combination with longer shutterspeed and a closed aperture. Next to that, you needed a certain movement: riding on a bike or horse could help…

During a recent TTD session it was rather dark, cold and rainy and the light was great for a longer shutterspeed so I thought to give it once again a try. Except for some colour saturation there is no usage of photoshop.

I like the result, not sure if my couple will, but this image is made for me, myself and I :-).

Trash The Dress [ Dubrovnik ]

We photographed Ralph & Selma after their wonderful wedding (by Dubrovnik Riviera Weddings). The TTD session was not organized by them, but a favourite add on in our packages. Since Selma still had her bouguet, she decided to toss them as well. Enjoy.

Trash The Dress [ Groznjan ]

Lorena had a very unconventional yet beautiful dress. Nevertheless, she decided to ‘trash’ them and although the orignal idea was to do it in the sea we moved to Casa Margherita since it was too cold.

Happily Marko supported Lorena fully so we also trashed his suit as well as his kum (best man Michele). It was a great moment. Enjoy.
