a new blog…
March 6, 2011 – 11:19 am
It has been rather silent on this blog this year which is ofcourse logical as we have much less weddings in winter then in summer. It is so much more fun to get married when the sun shines.
Next to that, some big changes are coming ahead. One of them is the new blog:

Not yet finished, still working on details, but almost there. Enjoy.
and yes, black & white only.
Impressionism [ Trash The Dress ]
July 8, 2010 – 3:04 pm
Ok, the story is for fellow photographers. The rest can simply enjoy (or not) the image.
When photographing with film (yeah, I know, I’m getting old) I was always fascinated by Impressionism in photography. You could get great ‘pastel paintings’ with usage of the correct film (I loved Agfa for that), in combination with longer shutterspeed and a closed aperture. Next to that, you needed a certain movement: riding on a bike or horse could help…
During a recent TTD session it was rather dark, cold and rainy and the light was great for a longer shutterspeed so I thought to give it once again a try. Except for some colour saturation there is no usage of photoshop.
I like the result, not sure if my couple will, but this image is made for me, myself and I :-).
What do you think?
Martina & Stefano [ vjencanja ]
November 17, 2008 – 2:41 pm
At the end of this summer we had a lovely cozy wedding on the see. My friend (and colleague) Stefano finally married Martina! I wish them lots of love and fun in their marriage.
Since we were guests, we had all the time to lay back and enjoy. But, of course it is hard not to take a camera to a wedding so we took some images in the vintage way. Enjoy.
(note for photographers: the vintage way is a special way of photographing: all vignetting and blurring is done in camera due to special lenses, most images are taken on film).
Olivera & Srdjan [ vjencanja ]

Our first vintage wedding (a different style of wedding photography) was held in Kastav, a small place nearby Opatija and the surroundings really fitted the vintage style. Personally I like this way of photographing and I am sure that for certain weddings this style will be a perfect fit.
Since there is much less work (post processing after the wedding) involved we can keep the price very interesting and you can even consider this style as a second coverage. More info (and weddings) coming soon.
Note for photographers: images are taken with a special lens and on Kodak colour film. No Photoshop has been used and vignetting is caused by the lens not by filters.
